Current Board of Directors
A volunteer Board of Directors, which meets monthly, oversees the operation of the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS). The Annual General Meeting is held in June each year.
Each Director is elected for a two-year term and no Director shall hold office for more than three consecutive terms. Each Director is one of more than 100 voting members of the Society and is a community ambassador, generating increased positive awareness of the Society and the Royal Alberta Museum. Board members and general members volunteer for the Society by sitting on committees, helping with fundraising events and providing advice and assistance when needed.
The FRAMS office is located at the Royal Alberta Museum and the Business Manager for the Society is Marilyn Nelson.
