If you would like to become more involved with the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS), there are a number of volunteer opportunities available, including the Board of Directors and various committees. Please see below for details and contact information.
VOLUNTEER ON A FRAMS COMMITTEE OR ON THE BOARD
Are you interested in getting more involved with the Friends on an ongoing basis?
Standing committees of the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society include:
- Communications
- Fund Development
- Membership
- Nominations
Each committee is chaired by a member of the Board of Directors.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS - VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS!
We are looking for conscientious volunteer Board members who have an interest in leadership, strategic direction, and committee work and who are interested in getting actively involved with FRAMS in supporting the
Requirements include:
Experience, knowledge, skills or interest in natural/cultural history, tourism, business management, board and policy development, committee leadership, fundraising or event planning would be beneficial. Board members are initially elected for a two-year term, with a maximum of six years. Standing committees, which are each chaired by a Board member, include: Communications; Fund Development; Membership; and Nomination Committees.
Candidate statements are currently being received. If a statement is longer than 100 words, only the first 100 words will be used.
