In recent years, the following organizations are among those who have partnered with the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society in learning and enrichment programs at the Royal Alberta Museum. We thank them and all donors for their support.

Alberta Community Initiatives Program, Alberta Lottery Fund
The Community Initiatives Program (CIP) supports project-based initiatives and funding is approved on a matching grant basis. In 2008, partnered funding with the Society has enabled the Museum School to operate year-round for the first time.

Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA)
The Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta FRIAA has committed $1.25 million to the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society. This generous gift is dedicated to support school and public programs in the Royal Alberta Museum’s Wild Alberta Gallery through 2017. A portion of this sponsorship gift will also be dedicated to enriching the visitor experience in the Gallery by incorporating new technologies and additional features.

National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF)

Syncrude Canada Ltd.
From 1998 to 2007, the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society has collaborated with Syncrude Canada Inc. and the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF) to fund the Aboriginal Museology Internship Program (20 placements with five curatorial programs) at the Royal Alberta Museum. The Society has agreed to accept a NAAF proposal to extend the funding for an additional five-year term, which will begin in 2009.
