In recent years, the following organizations are among those who have partnered with the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society in learning and enrichment programs at the Royal Alberta Museum. We thank them and all donors for their support.

Alberta Community Spirit Program Donation Grant provides an opportunity for non-profit and charitable organizations such as ours to receive a grant based on the total eligible cash donations we receive from individual Albertans over a 12 month period. 

Alberta Community Initiatives Program, Alberta Lottery Fund
The Community Initiatives Program (CIP) supports project-based initiatives and funding is approved on a matching grant basis. In 2008 and 2009, CIP partnered funding with the Society enabled the Museum School to operate year-round for the first time.

Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA)
The Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA) has committed $1.25 million to the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society. This generous gift is dedicated to support school and public programs in the Royal Alberta Museum’s Wild Alberta Gallery through 2017. A portion of this sponsorship gift is also being used to enrich the visitor experience in the Wild Alberta Gallery by incorporating new technologies and additional features.

National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF) - now known as Indspire
Syncrude Canada Ltd.
Since 1998, the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society has collaborated with Syncrude Canada Inc. and the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF) - now known as Indspire - to fund the Aboriginal Summer Internship Program at the Royal Alberta Museum. Two 15-week summer internships are offered to First Nations, Inuit and Metis students who are pursuing careers in native studies, natural history or Canadian history. The current five-year agreement between FRAMS and NAAF expires in 2013.
